Dr. Ricardo P. Pama, the President of the University of the Cordilleras in Baguio City, has been chosen as one of the twelve (12) renowned experts from all over the world to deliver the keynote address of the World Engineering Congress, dubbed as "WEC 2010", to be held in Kuching, Malaysia on August 1 to 3, 2010. The other keynote speakers are from Australia, Germany, Japan, Jordan, Hongkong, Indonesia, New Zealand and Malaysia.

The general assembly of UC employees with Chairman Jesus Benjamin Salvosa will be held on July 17, 2010, 3:00PM at the Uc Theater. Attendance for all employees is mandatory and will be checked at the door. Only registrar's and accounting offices are expected to assign a skeletal force. All employees are advised to be guided accordingly.

UC will host the CHED-NEDA CAR Education and Manpower Development Strategic Planning. The activity aims to produce a working Plan in achieving goals for the region's education and manpower development. The activity will be hosted by UC VP Ruben C. Umaly on July 14, 2010, 9AM at Rm M-5003 of the Nursing Building.

The UC Bunham Design Team is scheduled to appear in the first City Council Session of the new City Administration to present the proposed Master Development Plan for Burnham Park. All interested citizens of the city are welcome to witness the presentation, to be held on July 12, 2010 at 2:00PM.

The UC community shall commemorate the Centennial Birth Anniversary of our Founder, Evangelina Salvosa, wife of Atty. Benjamin Salvosa with a service on July 12, 2010. The special service will include a dedication program where UC officially names the new building as "Evangelina Salvosa Building". The service and the program starts at 10:00 in the morning. A year-long commemoration is planned for our dear founder with many more activities in her honor. Check event updates for these activities.
