In commemoration of the University's Founding Mother, Helen Salvosa's 100th birthday celebration, the UC community will be planting 100 seedlings in an adopted reservation area at Camp 8, Baguio City.
A launching of the Adopt-A-Scholar Program of UC's Project HELEN will be held on July 10, 2010 at the UC Covered Court. The program in intended to help 100 under-privileged students from local barangays and schools in Benguet and Baguio City through an "adoption" system, in commemoration of our Founder, Evangelina Salvosa's 100th Birth Anniversary. The event will feature presentations of the children and also some fun and games for everybody. Program starts at 9:00 a.m.
