The Jaguars of the University of the Cordilleras roared once again ending 16 years of frustration after claiming the scalp of the Cardinals of the University of Baguio Thursday, October 6, afternoon at the Cordillera Career Development College to win their best of three finals for the crown of the Baguio Benguet Educational Athletic League's centerpiece event.

UC judo men's team grappled to the championship in the recently BBEAL Judo finals. The women's team, on the other hand, placed 2nd in the said sports event.

UC lady jaguars brought home their sixth championship title in the 24th Baguio-Benguet Athletic League (BBEAL), hitting 14-1 against Benguet State University (BSU) Wildcats.

Before 2010 ends, UC Chorale, victoriously sang to the championships in the "7th BCC ChoraleFest" and "The Christmas Rhythm - Traditional Choir category".

Coach Panes sits in Asaphil Board

University of the Cordilleras (UC) softball coach Joel Panes has been elected as one of the Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines' (Asaphil) Board of Directors member during the recently concluded election in Asaphil's Manila office in December 2010.

The UC Dance Squad (UCDS) successfully defended their title as Northern Luzon's best in the Regional Qualifiers of the National Cheerleading Championships (NCC). Other squads have to settle for runner up positions as the UCDS once again tumbled, jumped, tossed up and danced their way to a strong routine leaving the audience and judges in awe for the spectacle. While there were few errors, the routine was still far ahead of the challenging squads.
