UC Dance Squad Remains North's Best in Cheerleading

October 11, 2010

The UC Dance Squad (UCDS) successfully defended their title as Northern Luzon's best in the Regional Qualifiers of the National Cheerleading Championships (NCC). Other squads have to settle for runner up positions as the UCDS once again tumbled, jumped, tossed up and danced their way to a strong routine leaving the audience and judges in awe for the spectacle. While there were few errors, the routine was still far ahead of the challenging squads.

Ending up as No.2 was SLU's Varsity Pep Squad, while Pangasinan State University's Pep Squad was No.3. All three qualifies for the finals, which will happen in February 2011 tentatively set at the Ultra.

With their strength and versatility, as observed by Manila teams, the UCDS is now coming into the finals as one of the possible teams that could challenge the defending champions CCP Bobcats.
