The UC Bunham Design Team is scheduled to appear in the first City Council Session of the new City Administration to present the proposed Master Development Plan for Burnham Park. All interested citizens of the city are welcome to witness the presentation, to be held on July 12, 2010 at 2:00PM.

In commemoration of the University's Founding Mother, Helen Salvosa's 100th birthday celebration, the UC community will be planting 100 seedlings in an adopted reservation area at Camp 8, Baguio City.

The UC community shall commemorate the Centennial Birth Anniversary of our Founder, Evangelina Salvosa, wife of Atty. Benjamin Salvosa with a service on July 12, 2010. The special service will include a dedication program where UC officially names the new building as "Evangelina Salvosa Building". The service and the program starts at 10:00 in the morning. A year-long commemoration is planned for our dear founder with many more activities in her honor. Check event updates for these activities.

A launching of the Adopt-A-Scholar Program of UC's Project HELEN will be held on July 10, 2010 at the UC Covered Court. The program in intended to help 100 under-privileged students from local barangays and schools in Benguet and Baguio City through an "adoption" system, in commemoration of our Founder, Evangelina Salvosa's 100th Birth Anniversary. The event will feature presentations of the children and also some fun and games for everybody. Program starts at 9:00 a.m.

Start the new school year with a cool buzz! A special highlight during the Open-Table registration of student clubs and organizations is the visit of Studio 23 personalities in UC to bring their Y-Speak TV program for UC students on July 9, 2010. The program will start at 3:00PM at the UC Theater with special opening acts from the UC Dance Squad and Baguio Metamorphosis. It will be followed by the Y-Speak Debate with TJ Manotoc, and with UC students as guest debaters. Special games and song numbers will follow with TV personalities Matteo Guidecelli and Xian Lim, after which a special mini concert by the band Sandwich will close the program.

The different UC student clubs and organizations will welcome all new members during the simultaneous open table registration on July 9 to 14, 2010. All UC students are enjoined to join any of the clubs or organizations for a fruitful and enjoying stay in UC. The different clubs will have a designated booth in the student lounge for members registration. Lucky registrants will also have the chance to watch the Y-Speak and Studio 23 mini-concert on July 9 at 3:00PM at the Theater. See the Students Affairs Office for details.

Be the first to see the full scale model of the proposed Burnham Park Master Development Plan, which was recently turned over to the Baguio City government as UC's gift to the city on its Centennial year. Constructed by UC Architecture students, the scale model will feature in detail what the future may bring for the beautiful park when the plans are implemented. Special viewing of a digital walk-through shall also be featured on specific time schedule of the day. The exhibits will be held from July 1 to 3 at the UC Covered Court and visiting time will be from 8:00AM to 6:00PM. Residents and all city stakeholders are welcome to view. The Student Affairs Office will conduct an orientation program for all new UC students: freshmen and transferees. Discussion and talks on UC's profile, mission and vision, UC policies and guidelines, college life, stress managemnet, study habits, and security reminders will be delivered by SAO staff and school officials. An open forum will follow and special performances by UC-CCP artists will provide entertainment during the program. Freshmen and transferees are advised to follow the schedule below:

UC, in cooperation with ABS-CBN Baguio and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), presents a job fair those interested to find the right job and gain fruitful employment. Happening on June 26, 2010, the fair will be open to the public from 9:00AM to 5:00PM at the UC Covered Court.
