Three UC Law Students among 20 National FLP Scholars

and the Tan Yan Kee Foundation

Aimed at looking for the best and brightest Law students in the country, three UC Law students were selected as part of the 20 national Foundation for Liberty and Prosperity Legal Scholars! Each scholar will receive a Php. 200,000.00 grant for tuition, books, and stipends.

This year's Board of Judges was headed by Supreme Court Chief Justice Diosdado M. Peralta.


The FLP Legal Scholarship Program is open to students from Law Schools that have obtained a percentage of passing above the overall average percentage of passing in the Bar exams.

The FLP was founded by retired Chief Justice Artemio V. Panganiban.

Four (4) Law students of the University of the Cordilleras were awarded National Law Scholarships among 20 scholarship awardees nationwide; --- by the former Chief Justice Artemio V. Panganiban's Foundation for Liberty and Prosperity (FLP) Scholars for Academic Year 2018-2019.

UC Law Dean Reynaldo U. Agranzamendez was named as one of the 15 holders of the Chief Justice Panganiban Professorial Chairs on Liberty and Prosperity alongside select deans and professors of top Law Schools in the Philippines. Dean Agranzamendez was earlier named with the first FLP professorial chair honorees in 2013
