Regular & Special Non-working Holiday for August 2013

Declared by virtue of Proclamation No. 495, s. 2012, August 21, 2013 (Ninoy Aquino Day) and August 26, 2013 (National Heroes Day) has been declared as a regular holiday and special non working holiday. This is to commemorate the late Senator Ninoy Aquino and all the Philippine national heroes who give honor and sacrifice for our country. Also in pursuant to Proclamation No. 629, s. 2013, August 9, 2013 has been declared as regular holiday as we celebrate with our Muslim brothers and sisters the end of Islamic month of Ramadan also known as Eid'l Fitr.

Per UC School Calendar, AUGUST 8, 2013 is marked as "estimated date" for Eid'l Fitr. In view of the Proclamation No. 629;

  • August 8, 2013 - Regular Class Day
  • August 9, 2013 - Special Non-working holiday.
