Agranzamendez represented the entire UC Community in expressing its condolences to the bereaved family of His Honor Judge Mario Anacleto Bañez as they visited the late judge's wake in San Fernando, La Union on November 11, 2019.

UC is among only 68 private higher education institutions in the country, and among the three universities in Baguio City, to be granted this status.
